go to the market on your phone and search and download "barcode scanner". Then when you are on a computer and you read an article about an app and there is a barcode, bring up barcode scanner on your phone scan the barcode and it will take you to the app on your phone.
And next time you're in Waterstones or Borders looking at expensive books, scan the bar-code of the book and get taken to web sites offering the same title for up to 50% off these somewhat overpriced stores.
I have seen ?40 computer manuals for ?20 just by scanning the bar-code in-store. Waterstones are gonna hate us bar-code scanner users soon...
I like shop savvy for use in the store. It has saved me on several occasions. It gives local and internet results.
On another topic... nice new titles... but why do these threads get "moved", but they really don't? Ok, I get it... it is really copied to a relevant place...
I prefer Shop Savvy as well. Good stuff. I like that it doesn't refer you to a web page but keeps you in that app. Real helpful to have the barcodes on the apps as well. Cool, if nothing else!
