I read awhile back about when you switch the nexus one to all read it almost doubles in battery life. with the cyanogen mod i can do that on my droid.. will this save battery also

I'm guessing that means 'red' as in changing the rendering on the N1/D1 to a red-only spectrum to increase battery life.

I don't see why it wouldn't have the same effect on the D1 as it did on the N1.
