screen brightness :(

Ever sine the big 2.2 uodate, which installed flawlessly BTW, I noticed that the screen is awful dim inside and outside. With 2.1 I used 'Auto' because it helped for daytime use. With 2.2 either auto or manually adjusting it all the way up doesn't really compare to how it was.. any suggestions?

Mine is working much better then when on 2.1 or the earlier 2.2 rooted leaks. I'm rooted but don't think there should be any differences. Not sure what you could do if manually turning all the way up doesn't help.

I am sort of having the issue also..

I have always had mine set to auto bright.... worked fine...

Now, when outdoors... I get the bright screen and then it will dim and stay that way until I power switch screen off and on again....

This sucks because when I first bought the Incredible (April 28th) I had a bad outdoor experience then my brother showed me the "auto brightness" option.. Problem solved!!! Then 2.2 and it's dimmer than ever! Guess I have to live with it...

I noticed the same thing. I checked the Auto Bright setting and for some reason it was off. I always used Auto Bright so I never thought to look and see if it was checked. Once I selected it... all was well.

I know it's a DA sugestion, but I was suprised to see it unchecked after the update.
