Screen Burn-In.....

Coming from an S6, I just got an S8 a week ago.

Been reading up on it and keep hearing about screen burn-in. The only thing I've noticed is that on Spotify, the black screen has minor/faint horizontal lines. It's not exactly solid black.....perhaps distorted a little.

No big deal to me but didn't notice this on my S6. Is this an example of screen burn-in or is there more to it than this?

Actually, I just noticed that Spotify on my laptop is also showing these distorted lines on the sign in page....and it's different. Wasn't like this before. So, evidently it's a Spotify thing and not screen burn-in.

First, I'd say there's about zero possibility of burn in after a few weeks. Second, burn in generally occurs when there's a static image on a screen for long periods of time. That was the original reason for a moving screen saver on a computer. The image continued to move, therefore the image doesn't stay still long enough for the pixels to "burn in".
