Screen coming on randomly since latest update

Ever since my Note 8 received the latest update, now at random times all night, my screen lights up, waking me and my wife up. I have my screen set to stay off. Now, I know that it will come on once fully charged but, it's doing this all night now, going off, then coming back on, then off, then on. Super annoying to say the least. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know of a fix?
