screen coming out

My HTC's screen is raised out of the chaste slightly on the left side and can pushed back in and with pressure by pressing on edge of the chassis. Is this a common thing or should I just return it for a new one?

No that's not normal. I would exchange it.

Yeah. I just might, not really sure if it just came like this or if I just damaged it though.

Normal usage should not cause that to happen. Probably a manufacturer defect.
