Screen dimmers

Hello all

Is there an app that can actually reduce screen brightness instead of just adding a filter.

I find low brightness still to bright in the dark.

The dimming the screen does before it turns off is perfect.

The minimum brightness already goes down to 2 nits which is pretty dim. If you need it even lower there are custom kernels with backlight dimmer feature but you'd have to unlock bootloader, flash TWRP custom recovery and root with Magisk or SuperSU to use a kernel manager app. Using a filter app will be the easiest option.
