Screen dimming

It seems every once in awhile the screen kinda flicks and dims for a couple seconds, anyone have any ideas what it could be?

There are settings that causes the screen to flicker when certain apps are running.

Developer Options:
​

Show Touches

• ON will give visual feedback for touch interactions.
• Default is OFF

Show screen Updates:

• Make areas of the screen flash when they update.
• Default is OFF

Settings/Accessibility/Dexterity and interaction

• Interaction Control: Verify that it is OFF

Settings/Motions and Gestures

• Turn Air Browse OFF to see if that helps

Settings/Air View

• Turn OFF if ON to see if that helps

Thanks, guess it's something running. Checked all the settings you mentioned that I could find. Guess it's not hurting anything.

I have this problem. My screen actually goes dim for more than couple seconds then brightens up. Is something wrong with my phone.

Try turning off auto adjust screen tone in display options
