Screen Dimming?

When I change the screen brightness in the settings menu it just changes the brightness of the menu items. The watch face is still shown with full brightness. Is there any way to dim the watch face? In the evenings I don't need this thing blazing like I do when outside on sunny day!

Thanks for your reply. The brightness goes from 6 to 1, but there's no enable autobrightness? It's an LG G Watch R

There is not a built in sensor for light on the LG R watch, so I am sorry but it is only an manually adjustable option.

You are honestly better turning off "always on" for lots of reasons. Chief among them is that the normal screen becomes more responsive to coming on when you look at your watch.
