Screen display timeout issue

Anyone ever have an issue with the screen timeout not working? Mine usually works (set at 2 minutes), but every other day or so I find my screen on and the timeout isn't working. A reboot usually clears this up.

Mine works predictably. Perhaps, you've an App that has permission to control the screen timeout and it's a bit wonky. So, the reboot clears it.

mine has been having the same issue. 3 out of 4 times it won't turn off by itself. still trying to figure it out

Reboot only clears it temporarily. It is very inconsistent. Like the poster below, it works maybe 70% of the time. There for some goofy reason, the display will stay on until I manually turn it off with a double screen tap (Nova). Weird stuff. I read on the OnePlus forums that this has been happening in some fashion since the OnePlus 3.

I've been using a screen timeout of 2 minutes on my OP6 since I got it and have yet have it stay on past the 2 minutes. I'm also using the OnePlus launcher.
Have you tried clearing the cache for your launcher?

Yes I tried clearing the launcher cache. I'm using Nova, but I've been using Nova since I got the 6T. This screen timeout issue has only been happening for about a month.
