Screen does not timeout

After installing the update my wifes G2 has been acting up. 1st the screen no longer times out when you are done using it. It is set to timeout after 30 seconds. Also the battery has been fully discharging in 8 -10 hours. Any help is appreciated. I will probably try to do a reset if nothing else works.

have you try rebooting it? A few days ago I also noticed that my screen was not turning off after the timeout was reached. Did a reboot and haven't seen the problem again.

I haven't been stock for a long time, but I had this issue on stock once and found it was related to setting called Smart Screen in Display Settings... turning it off worked for me.

My wife's G2 is having similar issues. I've disabled numerous preinstalled apps and it is good for a few days, then comes back. My next step is factory reset.
