screen dust question.

Now im a new user to the evo i just got it thursday. I wanted to know if anyone knows if the dust issues gone. I have a hw 003 purchased october 7 2010. Thanks again

Just worried that i might get i have now light bleed or raised screen its a very solid ohone so far

i have a hw03 phone with light leakage on the bottom and no dust--but a bit of screen separation.

you have Sprint warranty for the first 30 days of the phone, and HTC warranty for the remaining 11 months thereafter.

Thank you alot that eased my mind i have a very small amount of light leakage looking very close bu no screen seperation as of yet. Hopefully it stays that way

I think the screen separation issue was addressed a while back by HTC. The light leakage at the bottom, however, not so much. If you're at all concerned about it, it's nothing a little dab of black silicone, a damp paper towel, and 5 minutes of your time can't fix for good.

And just to be clear: the screen separation issue was where people's screens were literally separating and peeling up from the phone's case due to bad glue.

I have hardware 003 which I got about end of june. It has a little bit of dust under the screen on the top left corner. You cant really tell unless you're outside and looking really close at it and at a certain angle only. I don't notice it otherwise.

I bought 2 Evos (one for my wife) a week after release and havent seen the dust screen problem, the light bleed or the raised screen. I bricked my Evo with the OTA and they replaced it with a new one and that one doesnt have either problem either.
