Has anyone experienced their xooms screen flicker at all?

Lol...
joking aside, I'm thinking not OP. I would take it in and have them replace it.

Yeah I'm just fooling around.

OP, take it back immediately and get a replacement. You don't want to see something like that and then shrug it off because you haven't seen it in a while and then it comes back again after your return period.

its not the screen flickering, it is because you have the device on auto screen brightness. take it off auto and set it to around 40-50% and see if you still experience the issue.

Well they said it looks like a monitor going bad not dimming. I would think they look like 2 completely different things, no?

the screen flickers with the auto brightness issue. it seems like it goes from bright to dim to bright and back and forth multiple times which turns it into a flicker.

Oh ok. So you mean to tell me that the auto brightness is quirky at times? And users now have to manually manage the brightness so it won't "flicker"?

Just keeps getting better and better.

I saw something similar on mine I think. It looked almost like static you would see when an analog TV channel didn't come in. I think it was software related as it cleared when I closed a certain program. Forgot which program it was.
