Screen Flicker when turning screen on?

When I turn my Epic Touch on after its been off for more than a few seconds the screen flickers white with black lines before coming on. It just flickers once and then goes to the lock screen. Is this normal for the Epic Touch? Anything to worry about? I noticed this on a Droid charge also, but not all of them. Is this just the way samoled plus turns on sometimes?

Nope! Never seen that, only thing I saw once was the lockscreen would be black the show the image, but reboot fixed that and havent seen it again.

Might eant to exchange it, just tell them that their display model doesnt do it and that you didn't pay that much money for screen not to power up properly!

Mine doesn't but my wife's does. Everything works fine it just shows those lines during power on for a split second. I'm not worried about it.

i got this also. dont think it should be a big deal (knocks on wood).
