Screen flicker

So as some of you might've seen online maybe, some people have a green flicker on their 6 Pro while off.
This is only when you quickly press the power button.

Honestly who sits there and does that lol.

So I tried it on mine just to see if it does it...and yes it does.

I'm guessing it's just a short surge of power as pressing the button like that doesn't trigger it to fully power on?

Thoughts? Has anyone else tried it?

Yes I checked mine this morning and it flashes a thin line of light across the screen for a fraction of a second. Woopie Doo. Not concerned in the least.

Nice just read that verge article and looks like a fix is on the way with the December security update.

I'll find out tomorrow when mine comes if it has the issue
My friend's 6 pro has the same issue as well. Seems like it's a large amount of pixel phones, but nevertheless glad there is a fix even though it's not a deal breaker as long as it doesn't damage the phone.

Probably be the same on mine then if its wide spread

I don't notice it on mine. I also turn off my animations. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but I always set them to zero

Doesn't bother me one bit. I don't turn the phone off anyway lol.
Me neither but if it was a hardware issue or some sort or something that would affect the life of the phone over time than I would have wanted a replacement.
