Screen gets locked soon after the call starts in moto G5 plus.

When I make any call, the screen suddenly gets locked. I had to restart the phone or other person had to disconnect the call to get the screen back.

Any suggestions please.

Welcome to Android Central! It locks and you can't unlock it with your normal lockscreen password/PIN? By "lock," do you mean that it actually freezes?
