Screen goes to deep sleep instead of Dim mode?

I have the setting for "always on screen" set to On, however more times than not, the watch goes to sleep as if I have it set to off instead of the Dim Mode. Am I doing something wrong? It happens with faces from Watchmaker and the ones from the Android wear app. I wonder if that happens if you don't move your arm for a while, the watch thinks it is of the wrist and goes to sleep.

I'm seeing that too on my Zenwatch. I'm going to see if anything changes after a reboot.

UPDATE: Rebooting seemed to do the trick for me (I hope).

UPDATED UPDATE: I spoke too soon. It started sleeping again. :-\

I noticed the same thing when using a face from watchmaker (facerepo face) I don't have mine on "always on" but it was hard turning the screen on when touching/ pushing the button on the watch. So I stuck to the built in faces for awhile and recently started using "watchmaster" app and using the free faces and it seems to be working ok. I figure there might be a glitch in the program used to make the face and that's why it would blackout?

After disabling the "screen lock" in the watch settings, the issue stopped.
