Screen issue in Landscape Mode

I am having an odd screen issue, I have noticed that about a 1/3 of the screen has a different shade?/color?/brightness? when in landscape mode. However I don't believe it is defective hardware, i think it is software related for a couple reasons:
1) I can capture it with a screenshot...seems to me if it was hardware that the screenshot would capture it, could be wrong though.
2) It is not always persistent and only occurs in landscape mode.
3) If I turn the phone off and back on it may or may not persist in this behavior.

Any Ideas???

I am also experiencing this same issuse, most notably in YouTube. Have you had any luck elsewhere?

no luck anywhere...It is definitely not all the time but it happens in games and on video regularly now.
