screen issue

Sometimes half me screen will rotate and the other half won't. (the right half stays in portrait). Also, a couple of times the right side stayed black when I woke up the phone. It fixes itself when I hit the sleep button and wake it back up. Does anybody know why this happens?

It did take a spill and hit the right bottom corner. After that I got a message asking if I wanted to calibrate the acceleromiter (or something like that), but didn't do it thinking I could do it later. Aside from the occasional screen split issue, it works fine.

After a Google search, I found out that the screen split seems to be a problem that some nexus 6 owners have encountered. It doesn't happen a lot and some people think it could be an app that's making it happen.

I had 2 midnight blue phones which had the same issue. Returned both and now using a white one which doesn't have this issue.

It might be a problem with a particular batch of phones. Get a replacement if possible
