Screen looks like a tie-dye. Hardware issue?

Well, got off the plane, went to check my messages and my my TBLT screen looks like a tie-die.

While that may be groovy for some, I would prefer the clear version.
Called tech support and was told I would have to return the phone to the kiosk that I bought it at. Pain in the a**...

Anyway instead of driving 2.5 hours to the kiosk i bought it at i will try at a local kiosk.

Anyway thought I would share.

Completed battery pull x 2
No screen protector
no moisture = i keep it in a pelican case
outside airtemp was around 35*

? just ate some aSHROOMS i guess.

Well that's odd for sure. Definitely post about whatever happens with HTC/the kiosk you go to.

Oh they couldnt figure it out they just replaced the phone.

Have to ask if they made you wait for a new one or did they just hand you a new one?

usually a tie die screen is the result of a crack or cracks in the screen. These screens are actually two screens pressed together, and sometimes the bottom screen will crack and isn't necessarily visible. Did you have the phone in your pants pocket on the plane?
