Screen mirroring

I recently tried this and it hooks right up through my Roku. However after about 10 minutes or so just stops and the tablet will restart. It also shuts down my wifi.

I did make sure the wifi never sleeps option is on. What am I missing? Thank you.

It sounds more like some sort of system instability. Does it shut down like that if you boot into Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28736

I installed Kodi from the play store. If that is causing the problem then I will need to run a hdmi cable. Know of any good source for that.
Using Kodi without mirroring was fine. Will have to try safe mode.

The problem with Safe Mode, of course, is that you won't be able to test Kodi.

Fortunately, your tablet supports MHL, so you can look for any MHL adapter: Which MHL adapter does my Samsung Galaxy need?

The little bit of quick reading I did was a 50 - 50 shot of it working?

50-50 chance of the MHL cable working? Any good MHL cable should work to mirror the screen to your TV (although I've read about problems with much older TVs, which might have to do with older TV firmware).

Not liking my odds. Might just stay with using my old laptop via hdmi for anything Kodi.
Roku for Plex and Netflix etc.
