Screen not responding to touch, after putting screen protector on

I keep having issues with my N7, where it just won't respond to my touch. I put on an ArmorGuardz screen protector and my screen doesn't always want to work. I am not sure if it's the protector or the N7. The screen will turn on, but when I go to touch somewhere, it doesn't register my touch.

Anyone else having this issue?

Try removing the screen protector and see if it goes back to normal. If it does you know it's the screen protector and you need to get a different one.

I've never had a screen protector interfere to the point where it's bothersome or just doesn't work. In fact all the screen protectors I've ever tried work really well. You may have just bought a brand that doesn't work well at least for your device. Try another brand if you determine it's the screen protector that you put on that caused the problem.

Re: Screen not responding to touch, after putting screen protecto

Thank you very much Deb. It seems to be going off and on, so here is hoping that it's just a bit buggy and will fix itself. It happens I need to take the protector off, I am lucky BodyArmorz has a lifetime replacement.

That might be true if you have to use a liquid to put a screen protector on. But if you just have to press on you should be able to remove and put on 2 or 3 x and it should still stick at least that's been my experience. I'm not familiar personally with the bodyguards but it seems that there is a video for installing it on their website. Seems to me I remember 1 of them it has like to cure for 24 hours or something like that and then the bubbles magically disappear.
