Screen not working, need to wipe. Help please.

On my Evo 3D the LCD screen will not come on. The buttons light up at the bottom and I can tell the phone boots but it has blank screen.

Is there a way to wipe the phone without being able to use the screen. I don't want to give my phone back to sprint with all my data still on it. I have already removed the microSD but I still need to wipe it.

If you can still communicate via a usb connection, you should be able to install android sdk to your pc, and wipe the device using an adb command.

Not sure which commands to use, but if the folks here at AC don't know, you can go to XDA developers, and they would know.
