Screen Off Notes App

Hi,

Is there an app that lets you do something similar to the Galaxy Note series' Screen Off Note Taking on any Android phone? I sometimes like to take notes during movies (I have a movie podcast) and I love that I can just pull the pen out and write a note without my screen lighting up (and bothering everyone) at the movies. But since the Note is the only phone with that, I'm kind of stuck with it as my only option for a new phone next time I'm ready to upgrade. If there was some other app that could do something similar it would be awesome.

I use the screen off write a the time on my note 9 and note 10+ love that feature. I. Haven't heard anything that can replicate it .

I don't think so. That's one of the main Samsung's selling points.

Yeah sure seems that way. Sucks because that means the Note 10 or if it happens Note 11 are basically the only choice for what my next phone will be in a year or so haha.
