Screen on samsung gt-19300 stays on start up screen

[Android Central Question]

When i start my phone up it says samsung across and a green light top left stays on and nowt else happens!!! Anyone got any ideas please? Kind regards

It could be motherboard, firmware needs to be flashed but definitely too old of a device to be using .
