Screen Orientation

I know I am posting a lot this week, but suddenly in the last month all sorts of strange things have happened.
A few weeks ago, I noticed that the screen does not flip to landscape. This happens with some games, that always tilted based on how I help the phone. Even with Samsung Gallery, when I turn my phone to look at a photo in landscape , it does not turn.
I searched for a setting for screen orientation, but only Display/Screen Mode and Lock Screen come up.
Any way to get this back and working correctly? Than you

Long press the toggle in the notifications panel for Auto Rotate , what is toggled on in that menu?

There is no such setting.i searched rotate, and only home screen comes up. Suddenly the settings seemed to have changed. There is no auto rotate. Weird

I just checked for updates and it says I'm on the latest 4.1 UI, android 12

It should be a toggle long press it on pull down notifications panel , it's kinda secret menu

Swipe down on screen to open a Quick panel. Tap More options (three vertical dots or pen), then Tap Edit buttons, Find the Auto rotate icon, and then drag it to your desired position on the Quick panel, then press Done, this will bring auto rotate option on or off in your quick panel

Thanks, I found it and the toggle was on but it's not working for some reason. I turned it off and on, still not working

Sorry, I found auto rotate on the home screen settings but not in the area that you're talking about. It just seems to be gone I don't understand why

It could be because your on older Android version

Right, why suddenly did this get dropped when there was no update? Even tho it's 5 years old and 4G, it still works. Thanks
