OK trying to email pictures it tells me to allow Gmail access to storage OK that's easy but then it tells me to turn off screen over?

had the same issue with me, while trying to post pictures on Instagram. the problem was messenger chat heads which were active, after removing them the prompt vanished and i could post pics again.
