Screen pin locks after completion of a call

I have a pin lock on my Nexus 4. Under security settings I have set it NOT to lock upon pressing the power button, and to Automatically lock "30 minutes after sleep". When I complete a call no matter how short, the screen is then pin locked. I've looked all over but cannot seem to find the setting to NOT have it lock after a call completes. Anyone else come across this?

If you are saying that the phone was already locked when a call came in, you answered the call, and then the phone returned to locked state after ending the call...

Well, that's just the way it works.

No, the phone is unlocked when the call comes in, then always locked upon the call ending.
