Android Central Question

Has anyone found a screen protector that actually stays adhered to the edges of curved phone? I have the S10+ and had to finally remove the pre installed protector. I have IQ shield protector on now but the edges don't stay down and are collecting dust and dirt.

Whitestone Dome , the best I've seen for Samsung curved screen.

For me its whitestone dome, ringke full adhesive or rhinoshield.

Skinomi TPU protector has worked well for me, but it's not glass. I've tried a few glass varieties. Glass is futile.

Me and my husband need new protectors also. Whitestone is so expensive and I am scared he will mess it up putting it on for the 1st time and I've read good and bad reviews. So for non glass I am leaning towards IQ is that what you guys recommend. I am guessing Zagg doesn't work with the FP sensor. I always went to the kiosk at the mall cause she would put it on so good. I used to always use invisishield and used their glass ones before the curved screen came out. Just wanting to get a good one and I see IQ comes with 2 and is inexpensive. Is gadgetshieldz better?

I've ordered a few of these may take awhile to come in about 2 weeks but it's worth it if you order like four or five of them

I just want a good non glass one where the FP sensor works! And was wondering if the Zagg one works with the FP?

I just tried to install the IQ, it wouldn't adhere down the curved sides. Ripped it off. Would not recommend. The other thread mentioned the Zag Ultra Clear. Might try that.

The Ultra Clear Zagg that I bought works fine with the FPS.

Been tracking these discussions. I'll avoid cross-posting.

I avoid glass protectors and typically have great results, IMO, with film protectors. The one that came on my S10+ is awesome, but it's getting to look a bit tired. The Zagg recommended above gets abysmal ratings on Amazon, and since it appears to be film, it's on the pricey side for just film.

Still need to do more research.

How does it do with polarized sunglasses? Does it have a halo or rainbow effect?
I've never heard of an issue with polarized glasses for Screen protectors. It's the display screen itself that's normally the problem. I've also never noticed a halo or rainbow with the film type.

I'm happy for you that you haven't had that experience.

As for me, I've had tempered glass protector on many devices prior to the S10. With polarized sunglasses, the screen is dimmer but consistently the whole screen so I was fine with that expectation.

When I had the amFilm glass protector on the S10, there was a dark band that floats and covers almost half the screen when viewing through my polarized sunglasses.

Hence, I am asking before trying on new protector.

I just called my Zagg Kiosk at the mall he said he doesn't have the Ultra Clear only the glass fusion. I asked if it covered the whole screen and if the FP works and he said yes. I said is there a cut out for the camera he said yes. But it's $40. That includes install though. But I hate to spend that kind of money if it's not any good. And if I really wanted the Ultra Clear I guess I could try Best Buy. Some say Geek Squad puts it on free some say $8. I have a rewards card which I heard it might be free with that I am not sure. I have the original one still on there and it's just scratched up. I am on vacation after today so I will swing by the stand tomorrow and look at it.

Edit: I just called Best Buy he said they have 3 and the ultra clear is on sale for 16.99 and the Glass Fusion is 31.99 but he did say he thinks it's $7 to install. Than he said they have the original invisible shield. I may ask the Zagg Kiosk about the glass fusion and see if they can match price of $31.99 but he may say but our install is included is theirs? But for $16.99 I should just try the Ultra Clear and let Best Buy put it on. I just like the Zagg Kiosk that's what they do all day long and their is a girl there that I like she knows me.

Someone on youtube commented to me I was watching a video of Zagg and reading people's comments still undecided whether to try or not he said

The one I have is the Zagg Invisibleshield Ultra Vision guard. It's NOT glass. It is just a plastic material. It does indeed have a cutout for the camera and it worked perfectly for my fingerprint sensor. I did not have to turn up the sensitivity or reprogram my fingerprints. It does wrap around the sides as much as the original one did. It does not "completely" cover the sides BUT if you use a case you can not tell, it's case friendly and this is the reason why. Again, it's the invisibleshield ultra VISION GUARD, it's the one Zagg sells to help block out blue light. So this is the one I may go with now.
