Re: Whitestone Dome P7P

On a different loca glued screen protector to minimize bubbles they had you touch and hold the tip of the dispenser on the screen, then you unscrew the end to release the glue. Makes sense.

Re: Whitestone Dome P7P

The only part of the install procedure is having to tilt the guide/phone combo to make the loca "move" towards the center until it touches the protector. This is a very bad design and needs to be altered due to the possibility of a real mistake. For the money I think Whitestone needs to revisit and redesign the loca application procedure! YMMV
The other one, cant recall doesn't have a bridge, so it was tougher. See couple of videos, very helpful for installation.

Steamy bathrooms, tilting and swaying... I think I stumbled into the wrong forum  (carefully backing out the door) ;)

With a 2-pack of the glass, 1-pack of the camera film, and the UV light for $40, or just a 1-pack of the glass for $35, the larger pack is a no-brainer. Site offers a 10% discount via the banner ad, but using code "THANKYOU21" gets you 20% (if you haven't used that code before). Only downside is that they're a bit backed up on shipping - new orders placed now won't likely ship until end of October or beginning of November - but still worth it, IMO.

Thank you for the information. This coupon code still works. Just got the tempered glass for the Pixel 7 pro for 31.99 with free shipping.

For those looking for a tempered glass for their 7 pro, I just applied this one from Amazon. It's along the same model as the WSD and AM Film. Works great with FP sensor and it comes with 2 extra. Just follow the instructions.

I have a Spigen case with it and it literally goes to the very end of the case. Gonna give it a go and see how it lasts after a few weeks.

I bought this one and installed it today. Took my time and ended up with a flawless install that fits perfectly with my Spigen (as you also said).

I have Whitestone Dome on my Pixel 6 Pro and this product is just as good imho. It really did surprise me.

Just installed the Whitestone Dome on my P7 Pro. I'm always a little nervous with the installation, but just watched through the install video then worked through it stage by stage and had, as always, a flawless installation. Perfect fit, alignment, zero bubbles/dust/rainbow... Invisible seated in my Spigen case, No need to retrain the FPS as it works just as well as before... Oleophobic coating is very, very good and, assuming past experience with Whitestone holds up, it should last a pretty long time.

I'm really glad they put out this quality of actual glass SP - I just always disliked the feel of any kind of film protector, and they always look worn far sooner than their glass counterparts.

So I am one that rarely uses screen protectors. But I decided to try out a WSD UV GEN Film. I must say install was a breeze with zero issues. I haven't put a case on it yet so we shall see how it handles that.

No I use a case. I just hadn't put it back on at that point because I just put the screen protector on. My case is back on now. I wouldn't carry it naked either

So I have never installed a Whitestone protector on a phone. I never had a good experience with cheaper glass protectors that installed the same way using an ultraviolet light.

I recently installed one on my 7pro. I'm thoroughly impressed. Installation was easy and seamless. Fingerprint sensor worked great without resetting but even better with the reset.

I used the coupon in this thread and paid $33 and that includes shipping. I truly recommend trying it.

I've not used this type of screen protector before. If it's removed, does it come off cleanly without leaving a residue? I had a glass screen protector on my Galaxy S22 plus and decided I didn't like it. It was pretty easy to remove and once I got it off the phone, the screen felt exactly like new. Is the Whitestone the same way?

I've never had any residue on removal in the past.
