Screen protector/ privacy

Is anyone using a screen protector/privacy? I've been using one since I got my phone. But I'm not a fan of it. Obviously, the anti glare doesn't work. Also, my fingerprint sensor is terrible. I have to really press on the screen for it to recognize my fingerprint.
I turned on the screen sensitivity.
Part of me wants to take it off and hope for the best.
Would it be better just to go with privacy screen vs. a screen protector?
