I bought the S6 edge last June. I put a screen protector on it on day one. Well tonight after looking at the S7's at bestbuy, I realized just how bad mine felt. Wow! What a difference. It's like a different phone, the screen looks and feels great. Not sure how long I'll leave it it off (I already ordered a free replacement) but I'm really liking not having that thick piece of clear vinyl on there for now.

One thing try to save your phone for those days when you will. Until you will get your latest screen protector, you should keep your phone safely.

Im a heavy user of my smartphones. Over the last few years I've had the galaxy note 2 and note 4, the galaxy s6 edge, and lg v10. Ive not had a screen protector on any of them. I don't like the way they look, and the way they get after a while. I'm a retail manager (just retired Saturday-yea), and even with a few drops I've not had a crack or even a single scratch on any of my phones. I do keep them in a leather back type case . I'm putting my trust in gorilla glass. I did try to put a screen protector on my S6 edge, but the sides never stuck. Picking up the s7 or the s7 edge this week. I haven't made up my mind yet. By the way, what year is your pony? I've got a 2013 gt, deep impact blue. Has never been wet. If there's a 10% chance of rain, it stays in the garage. Have never had to wash it either. Mainly for a ride here and there, and shows.

I put mine on in April of last year. It didn't leave the store unprotected! Last month I had to send it to Samsung repair and was instructed to remove it first. It killed me to do so and they had my phone in Texas for about 10 days. When I got it back I was fully prepared to get it reinstalled but thought maybe, just maybe the "dry" (actually wet) mount may have caused the damage to my motherboard in the first place. Anyhoo, I waited and have yet to put it back on. I love the feel of it without one. Zagg HD is great protection but nothing feels better than bare! I got a folio style case and so far so good. I can always get a new protector for free if needed but for now I'm loving it without it on. I've actually dropped it in the parking garage the folio case opened but not a scratch on the phone! Yay!

With the Gorilla Glass today I don't see a need for a screen protector. Never used one on my S4 and I'm not using one on my S6. Never have had a scratched screen and I'm very rough with phones. There wasn't a corner or side of my S4 that wasn't dinged or scratched but the screen was scratchless. It's really a waste of money IMO.
