Other than for glare, is a screen protector really necessary for TB? The screen is glass, isn't it? And unless you're in a "white room", try not getting lint stuck underneath it.

Any thoughts?

At the Verizon store, they used one of those pressurized air cans at the same time they were putting the screen protector on...no lint stuck underneath.

Sometimes you get lucky and do not get dust/lint/etc on the screen while applying a protector. I prefer without screen protector. I already have a scratch on the screen from my jeans pocket where those little metal studs are. Oh well.

Definitely screen protector on the Thunderbolt. The class is not very scratch-resistant. Get some SGPs from Amazon.
