I started using screen protector with the Blackberry era back in 2009-2010 maybe, then with a few iphone i used to own and a few android later ... always the kind of plastic sticker one but with my last LG i tried Tempered Glass .. i own a Note 8 now and yes its a expensive phone so i want to be safe and im reading a lot about different type of cases, tpu sticker, tempered glass, glass glass, military grade sticker, one liquid screen etc etc ... i go to amazon reviews, blog reviews, people i know reviews and my conclusion is that NONE ZERO NADA protect your screen if you drop the phone.. only God and good luck, every single screen protector have an bad experience by someone, even if you dont believe me someone have a bad one, what i learned is those protectors out there are created to minimize the impact in some cases and to avoid scratches by the daily use like with keys and coins in our pockets that's all folks, so good luck with the one you are using

im still looking for mine because what im looking now more that the drop protection is the feeling and the case friendly style ... i will appreciate any suggestion

I, for example, I stopped using a screen protector, starting with my previous note 4. Curved screens are problematic and I like the feel of the naked screen. As for the back case, I use Samsung's military grade case https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...r--deep-blue-ef-rn950cnegus%2F&token=FCWSl3Jn . It is very comfortable and slim, it doesn't slip from your hand, it has a kickstand and provides a good protection (at least until now).
With my previous note 4 I used an otterbox case which was awesome. When I bought the note 8, a good otterbox case was not available.

"Screen Protector" was the Title!

I use the Zagg Invisible Shield curved tempered glass protector... AT&T Rep put it on for me and it fits nicely under my case frame with no issues. Have had it on since September! No Sensitivity issues... feels just like the original glass. Just a tiny bit of fingerprint smudging is all! Hope this helps!

Note: My case has an upper frame that fits over it and holds it down so I think that helps tremendously.

You're right, but what I tried to say is that with a good back case who needs a screen protector?
I dropped my Galaxy S7 Active, the phone I used to tie me over between the Note 7 and the Note 8, face down on my driveway from about three feet I guess. It had the same Zagg screen protector on it - when I picked it up, it was shattered. Not bad - just several cracks across the face. Same iBlason UB Case also - I removed the case and gently started to peel off the screen protector and damned if it wasn't just the Zagg that was shattered. The Samsung Gorilla Glass was still fine - a tiny pebble had hit the tempered glass and cracked it - if it hadn't been there, what do you think would have happened to the Gorilla Glass??? 50/50 maybe but I say cheap insurance and I'm glad it was there!!!

As another famous Business used to say "I won't leave home without it!"

A good screen protector (and I've used Zagg in the past - nothing recently - and they were good) is always a good thing - but I mainly depend on an Otterbox Defender for any of my phones. I've dropped them, one got slammed against a wall (screen first, yet), and <I shouldn't say this out loud> I've never had a problem. The case is really rugged, if it falls screen-down the edge protects the screen and a screen protector (the Note 8 case is screenless) will protect the screen from scratches, rubs, etc.

Cracked my elite curve while trying to get the bubbles out near the top of the screen. Only use the squeegee flat near the edges. I was using the corner on a small bubble. Replacement on the way, hopefully not another six weeks...
