Anyone know of a screen protector that doesn't affect the fingerprint sensor? I tried a LK from Amazon and now my sensor is worthless.

Whitestone Dome have proven themselves to be pretty good - and they are tempered glass screen protectors. I used Skinomi screen protectors on my S10 and they worked very well (but it's not tempered glass - however, it still has a premium feel to it).

I don't mind tpu protectors as long as it doesn't affect the fingerprint sensor. LK said they were sending me a different kind of protector so let's see how they work.

Okay, great! I find that non-glass protectors often work just as well! Keep us posted on how you like your screen protector!

I too have had it with poorly functioning screen protectors. My 2nd one, an amazon purchase, is an elastic skin screen protector and it sucks. When someone finds the perfect protector please post it on here. My 2nd issue is the unlock feature which only works at times when I am at home or in my Ford. Getting pretty frustrated in my new Ultra.

I ordered a set of Tauri screen protectors from Amazon soon after I ordered my S21U. They come in a package of two and I installed one as soon as I received my phone. I did a lot of searching for a screen protector that had lots of high ratings and this one has over 4,000, with an average star rating of 4.5. It works fine and the little tool that is included helps to line everything up prefectly when installing.

I bought the same ones. Work fine so far. No issues with the fp sensor and seem to fit the screen with cases also.

My second set from LK failed and I asked for a refund. I can't believe they don't test these protectors before selling them.

I ordered a second uniqueme screen protector after my first one cracked (dropped phone); it works fine for me.

I've had luck with Xtremeguard for several years now and they didn't make any for the S21 ultra this year. I'm looking for the film or wet application screen protector but can't find anything good at a decent price. Zagg might be good but too pricey. Any suggestions?

I'm about to order an S21U to replace my Note 8, and in looking for potential screen protectors, it seems the reviews on almost all of them indicate they mess up fingerprint recognition. I prefer Tempered Glass (have the Dome on my Note 8), but haven't found many to begin with, and the ones I have found, including the Dome, all seem to create fingerprint issues for a significant number of people.

The YouTube video linked above may have some good information, but no way I'm listening/watching for almost 2 hours!! Is there a TLDR for this, or any new/current recommendations for a good protector?

At this point I don't care anymore not trying anymore screen protectors it's just not worth my time.

It's a stressful thing - hunting for the perfect screen protector. I eventually just ordered one and kind of thought the same as you. Don't sweat it! If you have device protection, and a good case, you may not even feel the need for a screen protector!

I really don't need security as much as I need screen protection so I use a pattern and a glass screen protector and fingerprint for apps like banking.

I bought a screen protector from Gadgetshieldz which is a film-like protector, it is pretty good for an affordable price. I'm using it for 4 months now and I don't have any fingerprint sensor issues or touch issues till now.

I've been using this film screen protector after trying some other tempered Glass ones that I did not like. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU7016796

I am very satisfied with this screen protector as just the other day, my phone took a tumble onto a concrete sidewalk while riding my bike. The phone fell face down and whilst there were some minor punctures, it was just to the protector and the screen was completely protected. Since the pack came with 2 films, it was easy to remove the old one and install the new one with the easy-to-follow guide that is included.

After my phone fell (which I hardly do), I am very satisfied with the protection and I highly recommended it. Does not affect the fingerprint at all and it feels smooth to the touch. Can't beat the price as well!

I actually listened to that whole video a while ago because of dissatisfaction with the film protector I had been using.

I wound up buying #19 on his link list and have been using it for several months now.

It takes a few minutes to install. But it goes on perfectly and doesn’t cause any problems with the fingerprint. Caveat, you may have to redo them once. I did; my wife didn't. But, since the initial setup, it's been faster than with the film I had been using.

We both have used them with a case and no peeling on the edges.

If you're going to use a protector, that one is not a bad one by any means.

I bought their TPU protectors for my Pixel 6 Pro. I totally screwed up putting the two screens on, messed up the first and did the same with the second. Since those have a lifetime warranty I emailed them. I received a reply yesterday. See screenshot. Some warranty. So the refund is around $6.00. Not worth the hassle.

This one does not work with the fingerprint sensor at all. Amazon gave me a refund on it.
