Finally going to upgrade both our S23Us to S26Us and know screen protectors have changed. What us everyone planning to use? I actually never "poured" my screen protector on my S23U as I am careful with my phone...husband is another story and needs all the protection he can get!

Don't! Just don't! They ruin the clarity of the screen and interfere with the screen's touch sensitivity.

If I go with the S26U I will be getting the Spigen glass protector.

Any glass should be good but I put a Spigen on my Z Fold 7 and one thing I noticed was how crazy good the oleophic coating is on the Spigen. Finger glides so smoothly like the original glass. No issues with touch.

I have the 23U too and that's the only neg I have on the phone is that impossible to get glass without using the coating, I always used the amFilm TPU film and honestly feels as close to glass as you can get. You just have to replace it maybe every half year to year cause you clean the screen enough it does wear and feel grabby. No issues with touch.

I think most can do without protection. Just me I hate the chance of accidentally scratching my screen when new so I put one on when I get it. Sometimes after a year or so I go naked and don't care. You may not get a scratch taking care of your glass, but the oleophobic does wear so another reason to have a screen in beginning.

I just replaced the protector on my 23U with another amFilm and noticed when I was wetting and wiping the screen before application... 3 year old phone and the area that was not protected by the film (the selfy camera) the oleophobic coating had worn off because you can see the difference the water beaded.

Most may not care so do what feels right with you. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my screen :)

Never had an issue with clarity of the screen and especially not touch sensitivity, usually use Dome except last 2 years when they started using flat display I used Amazon cheaper version with no issues.
