I just bought a package of screen protectors from Verizon the other day.

They are made by, ScreenGuard. I thought that Verizon was too high priced on them, even though they are excellant covers. Anyone know where to find them cheaper on line ?? Have searched, and haven't found what I thought was the "exact" match for what I have.

Thanx

I like Zagg protectors, however they are probably more expensive than your Verizon ones. I put Zagg protectors on justa bout all mobile devices I have: My Omnia, Zune 30, 3x Archos 5, My parent's phones, my wife's phone and my droidX with body protector. I guess I should buy stock in the company... :)

One additional note on Zagg... They have a lifetime warranty, so you won't need another one for the same device. I have used this warranty on my omnia after one of my keys with a sharp point damaged the protector. The screen was protected.

Look into the Steinheil brand of screen protectors too. Some people prefer them to Zagg, but both are great. (Pricey, but you get what you pay for vs. the cheap protectors)

+1 for zagg got one for my EVO from radio shack for $14.99, the lifetime warranty makes it well worth the $ IMO...

Maybe it's just me, but I've never used any screen protectors for my devices and I've never needed them. They all seem like a waste of money. I just make sure the pocket with my phone never has anything else in it. I don't ever put it face down. Easy enough.

I got screen protectors from Verizon also. They were $12.99 and they are excellent. They are just called Display Protectors 3-Pack by Motorola.

All of the motorola devices come with gorilla glass as the main screen (do a google search for more info), and i can take my ka-bar and run it across the screen point down and blade edge down and it wont scratch. It is probably more likely the screen would break first because of the pressure. Also wanted to mention, i convinced my auto mechanic to get the original droid because of the toughness and because it was all metal and he got weld splatter on it and it did nothing to the screen other than leave a slight tint from the heat and metal. Dont really think a screen protector is going to do anything other than cost you money.

++1 for Zagg. They are thin and fairly easy to put on. Once they cure (24 hours) its a wrap. You never have to worry again.

Uh not sure I would want to test that theory. Anyone else care to try???

Search youtube for it. There are already videos of people doing this.

I'm using the Verizon one still. I normally use ClearTouch from boxwave though. I have seen those you tube videos of people putting knives to there phones but I'm not trying it. When I had a BB Storm I used a screen protector, then after a while decided to take it off. Kept my phone in the same pocket as my keys, change, whatever and never had a scratch to the phone. I'm not trying that with my DX yet though...maybe one day.

I can say that the people who say they don't use a screen protector are right, one is probably not needed on most devices, I have seen a video on you tube showing a guy doing all he could to scratch the evo screen unsuccessfully... that being said i just like having the comfort of knowing that it's there, I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it

try cellairis.com....brought an anti-glare screen protector that covers the entire glass front instead of just the viewable area like verizons.
