Screen Recorder: No picture when playback on PC

Did a search and no luck. I used the screen recorder and made a 10 second video with audio. It plays back just fine on the phone.

I transferred the video to my pc using Dropbox. When I play the video I get audio only with no picture. This is Win 7 x64.

Other MP4's from other sources arent an issue. I noticed that the frame width/height is missing from the file properties.



Also, I uploaded the video to Google Drive and I can watch it on the pc via the browser. But when I downloaded it from Google drive I got the same result of no picture but audio is ok.

If I right click the video and choose open with and select Chrome, the video plays fine in the browser.

But WMP is a no go and no video preview in Windows Explorer. Seems related to Windows Media Player. Am I missing a codec?

Solved! I downloaded and installed K-Lite Codec Pack (basic edition) and I now have video and previews in Explorer.
