Screen rotation on galaxy s7.

My screen rotation on my galaxy s7 isn't working. There isn't even and icon to turn it on when I pull down the top. Can anyone help me?

Try Settings, Display. It may have got switched off somehow, or Rotation Lock may have got switched on.

A Power Off and Restart may also fix it.

If necessary try Safe Mode, to test whether a third-party app is causing trouble.

Have you unlocked the portrait setting? I was having the same problem... I didn't see the icon on the drop down menu.

But there it was "portrait unlock"

Thank you for your solution. I've been looking for a 'screen rotation OFF/ON option, obviously unsuccessfully. Portrait Unlock... who would have thunk it. Thanks.

Fetch the dragdown menu, from upper screen. Rotate on nr. 4 icon.
