Screen rotation speed

Any way to improve screen rotation speed? Seems like there is a second pause, even when overclocked. My palm pre used to rotate instantly and I would like to be able to get my EVO to do it as well.

I think that would be in the kernel not sure if you could make a edit to that line.Ill check later when i have a kernel all torn apart.

Should be under settings display uncheck auto rotate.

That disables all rotation, I'm fine with the 180 but the 270 kind of kicks in too often for my liking. I know this is a setting that can be modified in CM6 but haven't seen it in a sense based ROM.

Yea, I'd also prefer to have control of rotation. I liked it better when the EVO was first released and it only rotated to one side.

In CM6, you are able to pick which ways you want to rotate..
