screen rotation

Anyone else have issues with screen rotation? I've thrown this piece of garbage at the wall 5 times this morning and the screen still won't rotate.

100% buyers remorse...the S7E is hands down the crappiest phone I have ever owned and I've had 3 iphones!!!!!

I'm sure you have checked this, but have you made sure that autorotate is on and the phone is not in portrait mode?

I have...
It's not a 24/7 issue...just sometimes the screen will not rotate?!?!?

So I assume that means you checked the autorotate to make sure it's on when it's not rotating? If so, I would try resetting the phone. Sometimes that is all it takes.

I've had this happen with my iPhone and a reset fixed it.

On Youtube I always have to rotate twice before the screen does. Never picks up the first time.

Perhaps this is an issue with the FB and/or messenger app? I can't recall any other specific app that "fails" with such frequency....

Sure, that resolves 99% of electronic problems...and rebooting once every 48 hours or so isn't "extreme" per say, but it does see a bit too frequent to me....

...and obviously this is an issue at 5:30am when grabbing my phone off the night stand and checking social media before actually getting out of bed to star the day

I didn't say rebooting and I definitely didn't say every 48 hours. I said reset the phone completely. One time. That's all. Resetting means setting it up as new all over again. You definitely shouldn't be doing it every 48 hours. I agree that's extreme.

Like I said, I had to do it with my iPhone and it fixed the issue.

I gotcha...no I have not done a "reset", but I am in the process of backing up my SD card to try the adaptable storage "tweek",.....might be a good time

My auto rotate toggles off by itself. I have to repeatedly go into settings to turn it back on.
