Screen stays on during a call

Ever since the Jelly Bean update my phone isn't turning the screen off while I'm on a call. I've had it switch me to speaker as well as pull down the notification bar. Is anyone else having this issue?

Curious if you have checked
Settings > Display > Smart Stay
I have mine UNCHECKED and my screen goes off while i am on a call until I look at it.
