Screen switches on and off in locked mode

After finishing using the phone, you press the power button to quickly turn the screen off. After about 30 seconds, the screen turns on for about 5 seconds and then turns off again for about 10 seconds. This keeps repeating until you use the phone once more.

Is anyone else seeing this issue? Any ideas on how to get it to stop?

Weird thing is if I reboot the phone but don't enter my SIM card pin, this does not happen. As soon as I enter my SIM card PIN, this flashing occurs.

Settings, display, check keep Screen from turning on in pocket etc

Did this but no luck. This is driving me crazy.

screen turning on for any reason without a button pressed isn't normal. Maybe a rogue app doing something that wakes up the screen? May need to start from a factory reset and diagnose.

Sounds like a faulty SIM, somehow. What case are you using but chance?
