Screen turns on slowly??

Just did a system restore to fix my batter issue and whenever I hit the home button, screen turns on slowly instead of instantly ugh

I tried the always turn off option but it doesn't help.

Any idea?

Does it turn on slowly with the power button? Also, turn it off completely (wait for it to vibrate), then hold the power button until it vabrates again. How long does it take for the screen to turn on after the vibration? Post the results of these two tests, so the community can determine if it is a hw or sw issue.
