screen turns on

My display keeps turning on. It is charging - didn't do it before plugged in or at least I didn't notice.

Check your notification settings. Any recently installed apps could have default alert settings. Another thing, are you hearing the usual sound when you plug in your charger when it's constantly turning on? Make sure it's not the charger.

It normally turns on when you plug it in, but if it remains idle, the screen is supposed to go back to sleep and stay asleep. If the screen turns off, then turns back on again repeatedly, then the charging plug's connection might not be secure. If it's repeatedly disconnecting and then connecting again, that could cause the screen to turn back on.
