Screen wont recognize touch on samsung galaxy s3

so i decided to save money and fix my cracked screen on my samsung galaxy 3 since i dont have insurance on it. I used youtube as a tutorial and i got the new glass on the device, but..... now the screen wont recognize my touch and wont swipe or do anything. All the buttons work on the phone though, HELP PLEASE!!

Sorry to say but your phone is now useless. Ask your carrier or take it to a screen repair shop to have an authentic corning gg 2 screen placed.
