Screen won't turn off

Just noticed today that my screen won't turn off. Tried changing the time out setting without any change. Even when it's on the unlock screen, the screen will not turn off. The only way to run it off is to press the power key. Any ideas out there?

Have you installed any apps recently?

I don't know how any app would interfere with that setting though. Is the Evo plugged in or not when this happens, or does it not matter?

Are you running like, Sprint TV or anything designed to keep the phone on? Desk clock, etc.
