Screening Calls

I have had a Google Pixel 3XL for several years. Until recently all calls from numbers not on my contact list were automatically screened. One of my favorite features of my Pixel phone. I say until recently. I believe they stopped after a recent update to Android 11 a few weeks ago, but may be wrong. I asked Cortana but the instructions to activate automatic call screening do not work. Now I do not even get the screen call button when an unknown call comes in.

Open your Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Spam And Call Screen>Call Screen. Is everything turned on there?

Call Screen has options for calls that Google thinks are Spam, Possibly Faked Numbers, First Time Callers, or Private. I don't see an option there for callers who aren't in your contacts -- the closest would be First Time Callers.
