screensaver does not trigger

My child messed up with my phone (Galaxy s4 mini) and now the screensaver won´t trigger. I changed the timer from 15 to 30 minutes and back in the menu a few times, saved the settings, but the display just keeps on shining. Any advice is appeciated, thank you

Try a restart. Sometimes settings get stuck like that.
