Screenshot issue

[Android Central Question]

I just replace my bricked Android phone with a Pixel 6. My screenshots are all gone. All other files seem to have come over as expected. All photos, etc. There is NO folder within Libraries (where it was on my old phone) or anywhere else that I can find labeled "screen shots" or anything like it.

They probably transferred all in your camera folder I don't think they get separately when back up .

Welcome to Android Central! Screenshots typically get saved to the /Pictures/Screenshots directory. This directory does NOT get automatically backed up to Google Photos by default -- you have to turn backup on yourself for that directory. (Typically, when you take your first screenshot and Google Photos detects that a directory has an image for the first time, it will ask the user if they want to automatically backup images in that directory.)

Unfortunately, that probably means the screenshots are lost.

My screenshots save a copy to File Viewer, Camera, then listed as Screenshot. Good luck

But are they backed up automatically to Google Photos, or did you have to manually turn on backup for that folder?
